What is Vaulting
Vaulting (FR. voltiger – to flutter).
Vaulting is a gymnastic exercise performed by an athlete on a horse moving in a circle with a diameter of 12-15 m. (on a cord) at a trot or gallop. If there is a high barrier enclosing the circle, you can do without the cord.
For vaulting, a special saddle or Gurtu is used, the horse’s head is fixed with interchanges. Continue reading
